What Makes a Mother
Is it a person who gave birth to you
Is it a woman who cleans after you
Is it a lady who makes food
or gives you a fucking roof
To live under

Is it a woman who washed your clothes
Or washes your dirty dishes
Is it a person who takes you to school,
NO. It’s none of that bullshit

A mother is someone who loves you
some that cares for you
Picks you up when you fall
Kisses your pains away
The person on the other side that kicks the ball
The one that won’t leave you a stray

A mother who will go across entire oceans just for you
A mother who will hug you in times of need
A mother that comes through

One who will always have open arms to you, no matter what you have done
